While assigning two engineers to each client engagement, one will lead as the Primary Engineer in Charge (PIC). The other engineer will act as a Shadow, following the PIC's work closely and learning from their approach.
Primary Engineer (PIC): One engineer will be designated as the Primary Engineer in Charge (PIC) for a defined period (e.g., month or week). The PIC will be primarily responsible for the infrastructure's development, updates, and maintenance.
Shadow Engineer: The other engineer will act as the Shadow Engineer during the PIC's designated period. The Shadow Engineer will closely observe and learn the PIC's activities related to infrastructure management. This fosters knowledge transfer and ensures smooth transitions between PICs.
Rotation: The PIC and Shadow Engineer roles will be rotated periodically to provide both engineers with hands-on experience managing the infrastructure.
